Someone recently asked me how I stay disciplined. The truth is, it looks different for everyone but for me, it all comes down to keeping the promises I make to myself.
It’s not always about chasing a big goal or external reward. My motivation lives in my why and my why is me. When I commit to waking up at 5 a.m. to train before work, it’s not just about the fitness that will improve, it’s about showing up for myself.
Every time I follow through, I make a small deposit into my self-confidence bank. Every time I skip out, I withdraw from it. Over time, these small acts add up. Session by session. Day by day. Week by week. Until your word becomes solid and unshakable.
Discipline isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being consistent. It's about being someone you can count on. Because when you trust your own word, everything changes.
So show up. Not for the world. But for you. That's where real discipline begins.
